Ortho® GroundClear® Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer1 is a weed killer concentrate that controls over 60 listed tough weeds and brush, including poison ivy, poison oak, kudzu, and wild blackberry. This herbicide enters weeds through their leaves and moves throughout the plant to provide control, with wilting or yellowing occurring in 2 to 6 weeks.

The product is rainproof in 2 hours, making it suitable for application in various weather conditions. It should be applied to leafed out and actively growing weeds in non-garden areas around homes, cabins, buildings, fences, and trails.

As a concentrate, Ortho® GroundClear® Poison Ivy & Tough Brush Killer1 cannot be applied directly out of its container. Instead, it must be mixed with water according to the product label instructions. For dense brush, the recommended mixture is 4 fl. oz. per gallon of water for 100 sq. ft., while for lighter brush, the ratio is 4 fl. oz. per gallon of water for 400 sq. ft. A tank sprayer or Ortho® Dial 'N Spray can be used to apply the mixture.

It is important to note that people and pets should not enter the treated areas until the spray has dried, as per the product's instructions.
